We are excited to announce the latest updates to ClickShare’s conferencing features. You now have access to better tools for teamwork such as dual display setup, enhanced video quality, and improved integration with Microsoft Teams Rooms. Barco ClickShare is already one of the most popular brands in wireless collaboration and presentation solutions, thanks to its high compatibility with other conferencing equipment. Share multiple content items on your dual display setup with ClickShare
When you are at a meeting in most cases you share reports, presentations, research with other participants. Sometimes, to make deeper into the topic you need extra display to show some insights. Now there is no need to close the tab and open a new one because Barco Clickshare introduced a possibility to share two different content items with your laptop on dual setup display from the ClickShare Desktop App.
This feature is available not on all Clickshare products but on ClickShare CX-50 2nd gen and the ClickShare Bar Pro. At least, for now. We have to admit it boosts Clickshare competitiveness and meeting collaborations.
Enhanced ConferenceView design
Now you get better experience with ClickShare ConferenceView. Thanks to the dual display option, you can share your content while keeping remote participants visible on the screen. This means you, along with other meeting participants, can easily observe the reactions and engagement of remote attendees in real-time on the screen. You’ll quickly notice any changes in mood, interest, or understanding, without needing to wait for someone to interrupt or raise a hand.
ClickShare ConferenceView for Zoom
With the latest update to ConferenceView for Zoom 6.0, ClickShare takes wireless collaboration to the next level. You seamlessly join your Zoom meetings while using the full capabilities of ClickShare’s wireless presentation features. Hence, you can present, brainstorm, or simply participate in Zoom meetings with more interaction and efficiency.
Get more control and flexibility with the new fixed firmware feature
Beginning from this autumn IT administrators have greater control in XMS Cloud on firmware updates. It is a fixed firmware version that works great with specific validation cycles. You can not only fix a certain firmware but also select which firmware version to apply to each device model.
Firmware updates and Jabra room peripherals in XMS Cloud
Simplified managing firmware compatibility between ClickShare units and Jabra room peripherals. With Barco’s latest update, connected peripherals are automatically detected and no more manual checks on Barco’s webpage. Your Jabra PanaCast video conferencing rooms [link to Jabra VC page] get new seamless integration. Although this feature is currently in beta, it supports five popular Jabra devices: PanaCast 50, Link 380, Speak 750, Speak 810, and Speak 275.
Button App driver update
Have you fed up with manually starting the Button App every other time you connect a Button? Clickshare keeps their promises. After the announcement in the summer release, the ClickShare Windows Driver has been updated. So, you need only to have a firmware version 1.24 and the Button App automatically launches when the Button is plugged in. No need for ClickShare App installation any longer.
ClickShare Bar video streams with improved powerline frequency settings
ClickShare Desktop App for macOS
Barco ClickShare group noticed a growing presence of macOS devices in business processes. It triggered them to expand their deployment that shows customer approach in their business model. Before users could use ClickShare Desktop Application only on Windows systems but now it can deployed mass across macOS.
ClickShare and Microsoft Shared Spaces
Microsoft’s Shared Spaces and Barco ClickShare work together to enhance support for collaborative work environments in various meeting setups. In autumn 2024, with new updates, Microsoft Teams Rooms on both Windows and Android devices offer new features for participants. This is made possible as IT admins gain access to room usage data from ClickShare-enabled rooms through the Microsoft Teams Rooms Pro Management Portal. As a result, IT admins can better analyze, monitor, and optimize meeting spaces for greater productivity.
